Message from the Congress Chairman

World Energy Strategies Congress and Exhibition 2019 (WESCE-2019) aimsto create a unique international platform for experts, strategy developers, policy makers, academicians, researchers, scientists, technologists, practitioners and sector representatives to discuss the challenges, opportunities and future directions in the area of energy strategies, and to exchange ideas and develop strategic solutions for future. WESCE-2019 also aims to address two critical issues, such as the developments of energy technologies and strategic road maps. The findings of this congress are expected to provide a valuable source and guiding information.

WESCE-2019 is the first global event of energy strategies which will take place in one of the world’s most attractive cities, Istanbul in Turkey on 26-28 August 2019. Istanbul, which is recognized as the bringing city of connecting two continents, Asia and Europe, is strategically located at the crossroads of energycorridors of various countries.

WESCE-2019 welcomes everyone who has a common goal to develop better energy strategies for the humanity and its prosperity. WESCE-2019 will include plenary, keynote and invited talks from ministers, energy leaders and experts; general talks from government, academia and industry; poster presentations from various sector-; trade shows and product exhibitions; panel discussion sessions on strategic topics, etc.

It is expected that WESCE-2019 will provide a forum for the exchange of technical information, dissemination of high-quality research results, and presentation of new policy and guidelines for enhancing sustainable development on energy technologies, energy market, energy security andenergy policy. Participations from energy decision makers, academia and industry are very welcomed. Furthermore, it is expected that WESCE-2019 will lead to effective and fruitful discussions and collaborations between the participants from different disciplines, institutes andsectors from all over the world. There will be technical sessions as well as attractive social and cultural programs offered to the participants.

I would like to invite you all to participate in this congressby presenting papers or communications related to any of the proposed topics. WESCE-2019 will also have a space for exhibitionwhere institutions and companies can present their research results products, and innovations.
